Quside brought their team together for a very special reason: celebrating the company’s anniversary with a Family Day designed to slow down, connect, and enjoy time beyond work. It was about people, families, and the relationships that sit behind everyday collaboration.

We joined them at Hotel Comarquinal Bioresort, surrounded by nature, open spaces, and a relaxed rural setting. From the very beginning, the day felt easy, joyful, and full of good energy, the kind of atmosphere where conversations flow naturally and everyone feels included.

Celebrating Culture With the Whole Family

This Family Day was designed so everyone could take part, from team members to partners and kids. The setting played a big role: a countryside venue with farm animals, ponies, horses and even a peacock wandering around created a calm, playful environment that immediately set the tone.

For the children, the morning started with a “Little Farmer” activity, where they could interact with animals and explore the space in a hands-on, fun way. It gave parents the chance to relax, chat and enjoy the moment, knowing their kids were fully engaged.

Team Building: The Boat Challenge

At the heart of the day was our Boat Challenge team-building activity. Teams worked together to design and build their own cardboard boats using simple materials, before testing them in the pool.

The challenge encouraged collaboration, creativity and plenty of laughter, especially during the final races. It was competitive in a light, playful way, and worked equally well for adults and kids watching from the side, cheering and celebrating every attempt.

Food, Music and Time to Enjoy

Food was a key part of the experience. After the activities, everyone gathered outdoors to enjoy a relaxed lunch with freshly made rice dishes, served alongside generous aperitifs. The informal setup encouraged people to sit together, move around and keep conversations going.

Throughout the afternoon, music set the rhythm while the team enjoyed free time: playing tennis or football, taking a swim in the pool, or simply relaxing in the sun. We also organized raffles and small moments of celebration to mark the company anniversary and thank the team for the year shared.

A Day to Slow Down and Connect

The Quside Family Day was a reminder that strong company culture is built through shared moments, not just meetings. By opening the celebration to families and creating space for play, rest and connection, the day felt genuine and meaningful for everyone involved.
