Zendesk

A full-day offsite for the Zendesk team at Masia Torre d'en Bru, just outside Barcelona. A BRIDGE workshop, a Paella Challenge with four different rice recipes and a zombie escape room to close. An international team that left feeling like they had been here before.

The morning started with a BRIDGE workshop facilitated by coach Noemí Belenguer. The session helped the team understand how each person communicates and collaborates, using four relationship styles: Fire, Earth, Water and Air. Light and deep at the same time, and it set the tone for everything that followed.

Then the Paella Challenge with Foc i Cassola. Four teams, four recipes: red prawn and cuttlefish, Iberian pork with sobrassada, chicken and butifarra, and a vegetable option with mushrooms and calçots. Paired with an Osona cheese board, croquettes, pa amb tomàquet and local wine. We wanted the team to take a real piece of Catalan culture home with them.

The day closed with a zombie escape room. A message from the future, a countdown, and a team that had to find the cure before time ran out. The energy in the room was something else. The feedback afterwards said it all.
