Company Retreat
Maisa AI is a young company growing at an incredible pace, and this three-day company retreat near Barcelona was the first time the whole team came together in one place. New people were joining every month, and many of them had only ever met through a screen. The goal was clear: turn a fast-growing group of colleagues into a team that truly knows each other.
We designed the retreat for 70 people around connection. Shared meals, time outdoors, work sessions to align on what comes next and evenings with live music gave everyone the space to put faces to names, start real conversations and leave feeling closer than when they arrived.
The team arrived in the afternoon, checked in and gathered in the garden for a welcome coffee in the shade. After some free time to settle in, the first evening began with dinner, followed by an open bar with a live saxophonist and a DJ. An easy start that set the tone for the days ahead.
The second day started with breakfast and a choice: a trekking route through the surroundings or a yoga class. Two ways to begin the day outdoors, each at their own pace. After a coffee break, the team moved into working sessions that ran through the day, with lunch and free time in between so the agenda never felt rushed.
A dedicated workspace stayed open from early morning for anyone who needed to step away and keep up with day-to-day work. The evening closed with a cocktail dinner on the hotel terrace and an after-dinner gathering that kept the conversations going.
The last morning was kept light: breakfast, check-out and one final session together to close the retreat before the buses took everyone home.
