A full team building day for vdShop at Espacio Teseo in Madrid. Coffee, internal meeting, LEGO Serious Play workshop, cocktail and an Escape Box to close. A team that rarely meets in person left the day genuinely more connected.

The centrepiece was a LEGO Serious Play workshop. Teams built models with LEGO bricks to represent their perspective on shared challenges, then explained them to the group. It sounds unusual until you are doing it. Nobody can stay silent, every idea gets heard and the physical act of building gives shape to things that are hard to articulate in a meeting.

The afternoon closed with an Escape Box: teams working together under time pressure, decoding clues and unlocking the mystery. By the end of the day, people who usually only interact by email were finishing each other's sentences. That is what a well-designed team building day can do.
