Ibiza Company Retreat
After our week together in Tuscany last year, GitBook came back to us to plan their next company retreat. As a fully remote team spread across countries and time zones, they had the same goal: get everyone in one place, reconnect in person and enjoy time together somewhere special.
This time we headed to Ibiza, a corporate retreat location with the sea, the countryside and great food all within easy reach. The team of 40 stayed at Hotel Torre del Mar, right by the sea, which gave everyone a relaxed base for four days of focused work, team building activities and shared experiences.
The retreat opened with a welcome aperitif on the hotel terrace, followed by dinner together, an easy way for everyone to settle in and catch up.
Tuesday and Wednesday mornings were dedicated to offsite work sessions, with the team aligning on priorities in a meeting room overlooking the sea. Padel games started on Tuesday and quickly became a highlight, building up to a final tournament later in the week.
Evenings took everyone across the island. On Tuesday night we went down to Sa Caleta for dinner at El Náutico Ibiza, on the water. On Wednesday the team headed inland to Atzaró Agroturismo for a cocktail workshop with Love & Shake, then stayed on for dinner surrounded by the estate's gardens.
The final day had a bit more energy: the padel tournament final in the morning, lunch at Ciento80 and free time in the afternoon. We closed the retreat with dinner at Jara at The Standard Ibiza, followed by an open bar to celebrate the week.

Ibiza can feel very different depending on where you go, so we balanced the agenda between the coast, the countryside and the island's livelier side. Every transfer, reservation and timing was planned so the team could just show up and enjoy it.
Working with a team for a second time is always special. Knowing GitBook's culture and what they valued in Tuscany helped us design an experience that felt familiar in spirit but completely new in setting.
The team left Ibiza recharged and closer than ever. It was a real pleasure to work with GitBook again, and we're already looking forward to the next one.
